Dean Mattsson

Chief Operating Officer

Dean has over 16 years of combined experience in the senior living and hospitality industries. His involvement in senior living ventures includes names such as Landmark Senior Living Group, Atria Senior Living, and The Ensign Group. Before joining LifeWell Senior Living, Dean was part of the Oakmont Senior Living team working as the Vice President of Operations for Oakmont Management Group. In his role with Oakmont, he had oversight of the company’s executives, was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company, and ensured the successful transition of all the Oakmont-owned and third-party-managed communities. Under Dean’s tenure, the Oakmont portfolio expanded from 5 to 18 communities (1,300+ employees) and averaged 97% occupancy. He was intimately involved with the start-up of eight new communities during his tenure with Oakmont, all of which achieved record pre-opening lease-up levels and reached full capacity within months of opening. Before his work in senior living, he spent over 11 years with Marriott International in various capacities, including Senior Project Director, Director of Marketing, and Director of Finance. Dean holds a BA from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Rollins College.

David Diamonon

Chief Financial Officer

A career financial and administrative management professional, David brings to LifeWell Senior Living invaluable experience gained while working in both the private and public sectors. Most recently, David worked for Chicago-based Amsted Rail and served as Country Manager for Ukraine. Initially, David was posted in Moscow, where he led the integration of a Russian acquisition into Amsted Rail's corporate structure, focusing on finance, accounting, and administration. During other overseas assignments, David managed privatization and economic development projects funded by the International Finance Corporation and the U.S. Agency for International Development. David also possesses consulting expertise, having worked for Computer Sciences Corporation on software implementations. Outside of the office, David spent his limited free time on developing the first lacrosse teams in Moscow and Kiev and competed with the Russian National Team in the 2014 World Championship Games. David holds a BA in Russian Language and Literature from Middlebury College and an MBA from Rice University's Jones Graduate School of Business.

Angie Fleenor

Vice President of Health & Wellness

Angie is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in geriatric care and has over nine years of experience in clinical service leadership, chronic disease management, and compliance. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Texas Tech University, graduating with honors, and was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society. Prior to earning her nurse practitioner license, Angie received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University and practiced as a registered nurse in geriatrics. Over the years, she moved into upper management and executive leadership roles. Angie led the clinical and compliance programs for several large companies specializing in senior living (assisted living and memory care), post-acute rehab, and hospice and home health. Angie has worked as a nurse practitioner in family and geriatric settings, and her scope of practice encompasses health promotion, disease prevention, and chronic disease management.

Nancy Convertito

Vice President of Sales

Nancy joins us after nearly 12 years with Silverado, most recently as their National Director of Sales Training for all three of their service lines (memory care/assisted living, home care, and hospice). She began her career with Silverado in external sales as a Community Ambassador in Houston, where she built strategic relationships with healthcare professionals and important decision-makers within the industry. She then moved to a Regional Director of Sales role for Texas, Utah, and Chicago for eight years where she oversaw sales efforts for all the communities in these states. Known for building strong relationships and robust teams, Nancy had a dramatic impact on Silverado's business by growing professional referrals-to-move-in ratios in both start-up and stabilized communities. By creating and delivering clinical outcomes and hospice training programs, her teams achieved recognition as sales experts in the senior living industry. Nancy has a combined 20 years of sales and sales management experience. Before joining the senior living industry, Nancy worked for Compaq and HP, where her talent for building relationships made her a strong liaison between sales, marketing, business development, training, and outside agencies. She was a Master Accredited Compaq Instructor and won the Pinnacle award for outstanding sales performance.

Schon Alkire

Corporate Manager of Lifestyle Innovation

A graduate of Baylor University and a seasoned professional in the Senior Living industry, Schon joins LifeWell Senior Living tasked with creating and implementing industry leading programs, training, and technology. Growing up in Houston, Texas, after high school Schon had a successful career in music and ministry. He later owned and operated his own graphic design business and went on to become the general manager of W Promotions in Waco. Desiring to move from a production based business to one that focused on people, Schon began volunteering at retirement communities and soon developed a love for seniors. He obtained an Activity Director Certification and became the activity director at one of Katy’s finest and most technologically advanced senior communities. There, he excelled in implementing programs and technology that produced incredible results. Schon has unparalleled creativity and passion, which he uses to improve the lives of seniors by focusing on their physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.

Charles Turner

President

Charles brings several years of experience in medical and senior housing real estate development, financial management, strategic planning, Big 4 consulting, and operations management his role as President of LifeWell Senior Living, and is committed to helping seniors lead connected, active, and purposeful lives. Over the years, Charles has created communities that have become known for their unique and special culture. From their senior executives to their front line associates, the mission has been to ensure that residents are not simply living, but living Life Well. This is not just a throw away mission statement; rather, it is at the core. Charles truly believes residents, regardless of ability, continue to have purpose. That purpose comes from community. Keeping this as a core value, LifeWell strives each day to ensure that residents remain connected to family, friends, each other, staff, and the community at large. LifeWell communities are not for our residents only, but for all who know and love them. Another core philosophy is that we are here to improve the quality of resident’s lives, not just sustain it. Alex White

General Counsel

Alex has served as a legal advisor for LifeWell both as an outside and in-house attorney for years. His duties consist of providing legal oversight for financing, corporate and general operational matters. A former Partner of Andrews Kurth LLP, Alex received his J.D., cum laude, from Tulane University Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana and his B.S., magna cum laude, in Finance from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois.
